Hard hitting, and powerful melodic death is the basis of this 10 track album that features guest appearances by Teemu Mäntysaari (Wintersun) and Yngve "Bolt" Christiansen (Blood Red Throne) among others. This album comes at you like a wall and beats you to the ground. If you enjoyed their previous outing "Epidemic", I can tell you that they upped their game since then. "The Mire" improves on it in every fashion and then takes it another step further. An outstanding effort, well deserving a place in any death metal fan's collection
